We did not try the restaurant but the lounge is cool, the staff is all international as is most of the staff in bars in this village.

San Pedro is heavily saturated with bars & restaurants so El Barrio could easily be missed while scrolling through TA. Do yourself a favor & add this restaurant to your favorites to make sure you stop my, you wonât regret it! This expat-run restaurant has a fantastic selection of beers & liquors to choose from, including some wonderful local selections (Pantera beer from Antigua, how could we resist?!?). They also offer delicious food including a 4-course weekend brunch with beverages which was frankly incredible! And Sunday night there is an Irish Stew special (YUM!) Our advice, skip the touristy waterfront walk the winding streets to enjoy this gem! Thank you Sean, Natalie & Anita for the wonderful hospitality!

The Blue Parrot has great casual food, such as burgers, other sandwiches, salads, etc. It has a nice outdoor dining area and a covered dining area, plus a bar to sit around. The staff is friendly and the food great. This is a really good place to eat.

I showed up at Blind Lemon's for an early dinner to find a group of football (soccer) fans from UK and Canada relaxing on a comfortable sofa and chairs watching on a big screen TV the Manchester City vs ?? Eat/Drink/Game. Good time even though I know nothing about football. Blind Lemon's is comfortable and inviting.The menu is well rounded, something for everyone. I had an excellent chicken enchilada dish. I came back later to see if Carlos Funk would be there. Lucky me, he was.For the next couple evenings Carlos and I played the blues. You've got to check this place out!

A small Tiki-Shack setting at the top of Santander and Calle Principal. The Curry Chicken and Vegetarian sandwiches are very tasty and filling. Freshly made, the owner clearly is proud of the quality of his fare. We certainly appreciated the new options. There are always drink prices, and delivery is available direct to your hotel/address for only the Q5 cost of the tuk tuk that delivers it.

Love this place! We enjoyed the Açaà bowls with the hummus and veggie plate. Yum! Especially the hummus; homemade. Prices are super reasonable and the food is tasty with a lovely presentation. The atmosphere is great; clean and hip with the option for rooftop dining. I can imagine enjoying one of their brews during sunset. One thing that made the service top-notch was that I left without my credit card. The nice young man tracked me down by running to catch up with us. Definitely greatly appreciate.

Alex and Melvin were phenomenal to us during our visit. These two young employees from Pana specifically fired up the popcorn machine for us, provided samples (including a chocolate coffee flavour that Alex had thought up), and eagerly told us all about the 9-month-old brewery. The beer was great and so was the company.

La Palapa is a favorite of locals, ex-pats, and tourists, with a typical bar menu - burgers (great!) & fries, sandwiches, nachos, really good chili, etc. Full bar. Known for their Saturday afternoon barbecue with grilled fish, great cuts of meat, and Portobello mushrooms available, as well as excellent sides. Live music on weekends. Friendly staff. Mister Jonâs has a diverse menu of mostly American fare (I believe the owner is an expat). Everything Iâve had on the menu is good and never leaves me with a belly-ache, except perhaps from overdoing it, ha. Good food, decent service, and always reliable. One of my top 5 spots in Pana for sure.
