I have been to Baker and Spice a few times now. It's great for casual dining and they serve an excellent Chicken Caesar Salad. The location is great too. Good option for quick, reasonably priced and healthy food.

On a trip back to chengdu for work and looking to see if the western food scene is better and this place hits the spotGuy in charge seems to really care about service and while menu is limited it is better to be great at a few things than make a mess of a lot.Btw nice Sichuan chicken sandwich, strong pours, clean place, check it out!

After 3 months of traveling around China, the best beer we had was at the Beer Nest in Chengdu. Their IPA rivaled some American brews. The location is nearby some other popular expat spots (The Lazy Pug, etc.) and the ambiance is an authentic American/European pub feel. Beer is a bit pricey (40rmb for a pint of IPA) but they have happy hour specials (25% off) and, considering that you'll pay 25rmb for a Tsingtao at some bars, it's pretty reasonable for a craft beer.

Foods great and their BBQ sauce was fantastic. Prices can vary from cheap to relatively expensive but the menu covers every budget. If you looking for an inexpensive lunch or dinner opt for the bbq cheese fries. Big enough for a meal on its own and one of the cheapest things on the menu. Compared to many restaurants in chengdu, Blue Frog is very good but overall it is ok. The restaurants is very nice with dynamic and modern tables and furniture. The staff and service can be a little slow and might speak very well english. While waiting you can watch some of the sport programmes at the tv or listen to some modern music. The menu offers a very big variety of different foods (which from my point of view is not necesseraly a good thing) which most of them are good. I like the most the burgers burgers and fried squid. The price are quite high, I recommended, specially for the meat.

It is really hard to find a good burger shop around, I reckon this is the best and the only, makes the real stuff. Burger is really juicy, I am sure they are using top quality beef to make their patties, I can tell their patties are well seasoned and flame grilled. Definitely, big difference from Macca's. It I was told that the beef they are using, is no antibiotics and no hormones grain fed angus from Aus. In the end, it was a pleasant experience.By the way, the price was really good, I ordered a burger with crispy bacon and cheese sauce, and crispy battered handcut fries was just round $10 bucks.

I came here at around 20:30 and there were only chicken and beef burgers on the menu. Not sure where the items in other reviews were coming from. Burger was extremely average at best. Onions rings on top of it were burned.I also had a Corona and found out when I had almost finished it that it was already 4 months over date.Overall quite dissapointed and cannot recommend.hey man sorry we didnt nail it when you were in. we had just changed the menu in mid August. but anyway if youre ever around again ill buy you a shot and we can chat about it ... sorry again

This coffee is really good and strong, with options for oat, almond and coconut milk. They've also got a variety of home made snacks like the pictured rice crispy slab. Cheaper and better than a certain Seattle coffee chain with a mermaid logo.

Service: 3/5Environment: 4/5Food: 4,5/5Ok, let me break it down. We made a reservation, we arrived about an hour later and got our table. Everything was fine for us, but as soon as the company of six showed up next to us they had to squeeze in on two tables. I assume they were planning on giving them our table as well. About 40 minutes in and an appetizer down we were asked to change table "for some more privacy", rather than being blunt and telling us that the other company would like to have their third table. We were happy to oblige - just be honest.I was feeling hungry and had the Carbonara as an appetizer - Yes it's definitely an appetizer or a kid's menu. But they told me that it would be small, to be fair. I was a bit surprised as I had to pay extra for the parmesan, and they could have added an extra egg yolk to the mix (3/5 - good for being in Asia). I also had the, what I'd call a "meatlover", can't remember the proper name right now. But it was with extra thin crust and it was delicious (5/5). My girlfriend also had a "papa bear" which I highly recommend! (5/5) I give Mike's Pizza a 4 due to the fact that their services could have been a little bit better. It wasn't too busy at the time, for a restaurant. The pizza was delicious, and the carbonara was decent! The overall feeling was pleasant. I'd still come back for the pizza!
