The most interesting part was the DMZ museum. It gives good explanations in English, though everything isn't translated. The staff at the museum speaks good English and will be able to help you with directions to the Observatory. Though it isn't hard since it's on your left when getting out of the museum and there is only one road.
The Observatory isn't that much of a big deal we thought. Try going there by good weather if you want a chance of actually seeing something. And if you are going by your own means, you will need a car to get there since they don't let motorcyclists or pedestrians in. Don't forget to get the paperwork done in Machajin at the Tongil security park. The staff there doesn't speak English but patience, good will, your best efforts and a smile will get you there :)

After the visit to the Goseong Aquarium, we discovered, that there is a dinosaur museum nearby. Why not, my children love dinosaurs, so we went.
Arrived at the parking lot and saw a really run down building. Must have been built in the 70's by the looks of it. But we were here so lets go!
Nobody at the ticket counter, I look around and I see a man on a bike coming towards us from the petrol station next to it.
We buy the tickets and he heads back. Looks like this guy has two jobs.
Nobody inside, no airconditioning, only fans. It's hot but I show interest because of my kids.
Lots of fossils, insects and stones/minerals. Next room has, weirdly, miniatures of famous buildings made out of paper. Last room has a skeleton of a T-Rex (very small), a stuffed mammoth (mini) and some other animals and animal bones.
10 minutes max. Please don't waste your time.

스모클 가져가서 고기도 잡고 소라와 전복등 자연산 해산물을 잡아 맛있게 먹을슈 있습니다. 다만 때가 맞아야하고 제지 받을수도 있습니다만 해변을 돌아다니며 산책도 괜찮습니다.

비교적 한적한 해변입니다.
겨울에도 좋구요!
여름에도 사람이 그렇데 많지는 않습니다.
물놀이 하는곳이 제한적이라 그런것 같습니다. 수심이 깊어서 위험하거든요.
해변가가 많이 발전한곳이 아니라서 좋습니다,
관광지 분위기도 많이 안나구요

It's quite a small place, will be able to complete within 1 hour or less...Worth my money as i see the collection of Princess Hours (Korean drama) at the exhibition. There are so many themes of the bears, some hip hop, carnival etc...I will think my girls will be happy to see if they were there.

Our guide thought this would be a nice diversion for us, and as the weather was nice it proved to be a lovely walk. The local fisher women whom sell their fresh seafood below the cliffs is an experience to try, as you get a nice selection of freshly prepared raw seafood for about 20000 won per portion.

Fine to visit if you have a spare hour or two, as the location is pretty and the lavender smells wonderful. You can also buy some lavender products on site, which seemed quite popular on the day.
