The Lodge Inn

Excellent proper pub with an amazing choice of ale etc. Informed bar staff who provide very consistent service and promote trying a taster before purchase of a pint. If you like beer and appreciate variety and informed bar staff you cannot go wrong. It’s a rare find. An independent with no allegiances other than to customers!

Well kept gardens and different areas for different people. Ball games, a sensory park, a skate park and well equipped playground for the young ones. The flowers and shrubs are kept tip top and just makes visits really pleasurable.. Just hope we can get some of our events back such as music festival and carnival soon!

I have never done a review before but I was asked to by the lovely lady working in the wacky michelle so here goes. I have never been to this wacky before but we will surely be back again . We were warmly greeted by a lady with glasses , she explained tots time to us and the rules as we were new to this soft play experience, explained juice was included in the price and show Us where it was. I ordered lunch which was lovely , hot and very tasty and quickly served. I then went back to the counter when we had finished for a hot drink where the lady severing me “Michelle” persuaded me into having a coffee and cake for just £2.99 although my granddaughter eat most of the cake . The coffee was brought over and the plates cleared . The whole experience was a delightfully and can I say what a nice , hard working staff you have Michelle never stopped cleaning whiles I was there . We will see you all again soon
