I am really satisfied with this restaurant.I was really unsure about this restaurant.But in the end I kind of want to go back. I ate the chicken wraps.It was full of delicious flavoring. We also tried the grilled salmon and the Arctic char. Both was also delicious. This place does fish really well.

Word Vaisko comes from old Sami language and is Luosto´s original name. Locality is our priority, the closer it comes the better it is. Our main product reindeer comes from reindeer farm Kopara and other local reindeer farmers, it´s hand picked and we only use the best meats. We also use other local ingredients. Welcome to restaurant Vaisko to enjoy lappish delicasies and atmosphere!

We went to this place as we we researched on trip advisor. It was the number one and indeed it was the best food we had in luosto. The margarita pizza was not so good, by comparison. Go for the polenta mushroom or the Arctic char. The two our delicious. Service was also friendly and attentive.

We ate at this restaurant for breakfast & dinner whilst on a trip to see Santa with Canterbury Travel. It's buffet style with a reasonable selection of food, which tasted very nice. The restaurant staff were very friendly & helpful. The only downside was that when it was very busy, the toilets would run out of soap & toilet paper - when I mentioned this to a member of staff they just shrugged their shoulders however it was rectified for the following day.
Overall, it's a nice restaurant with tasty food.

We stopped here on a quiet mid week day, stopping for lunch in the only place that was open!
But we were warmly welcomed and our hostess told us what was on the lunch menu - warm bread and butter, tomato and cucumber salad, then fresh grilled salmon steaks, boiled potatoes and red cabbage, then for pudding we had pancakes and jam.
The food was exceptional, simply done but perfectly executed.
We also took some fresh home made donuts and pastries with us for afternoon tea.

The oldest, homiest and coziest ski café in Luosto. Leave your skis, snowshoes, snowmobile or car outside and pop in from the cold Spring weather and enjoy hot drinks, pastries or doughnuts by the warm fireplace. We accept also credit cards.

We did a snowshoe walk from Luosto up to the beautiful Fjell and walked to this small hut just beside of the Ski cross country slope. The atmosphere is very nice with lots of homemade cookies and cake. Good point to stop by.

Located next to a bar, this place does not provide an always peaceful experience. Quality is reached the chain standards, but do not expect anything fancy. Prices are a bit high compared to the portion sizes. Nice service. Overall very easy place for anyday dinner.

This restaurant is quite new, opened in February 2017. Good location. Two dishes of the day, meat and fish. I chose fish and it was delicious. The size of the portion was ok for ladies but not for our husbands.
Interesting menu with reasonable prices. Too little personnel so we waited an hour for our dishes on Saturday evening. Many tourists were forced to come in to pay the bills. Special thanks for the young cook. Our waiter could have been friendlier. Maybe she was in a hurry too much.

I visited this Restaurant with family and the whole experience was Excellent. The service was very good and the staff are engaging and friendly. The food was cooked perfectly and was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very good with background music and a nice fire burning in the hearth, just perfect for Lapland. Check for opening times, restaurant is in a good location but pops up on you so very decent find. Had I have stayed longer would have enjoyed a second visit. Would recommend and I thank the staff on for a good experience.
