Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co.

Visit Newport's Microbrewery and Distillery for tours and tastings. We make craft beer and spirits. Self-guided tours available during open hours and guided tours are available at 3 PM. We don't have food or seating all year-round but during the warmer months offer seating and soft pretzels on our pavilion. Sorry for the inconvenience but we are brewing and packaging facility.

I enjoyed our little trip to the Newport craft brewing tap room, which was nicely decorated for the holidays. It was somewhat busy but not too crazy busy for a Saturday afternoon (probably because the brewery itself isn’t really in walking distance from the downtown area) It was refreshing to not have to fight for tables or swim through a crowd of people to order a beer at the bar. There was a decent variety of beer on tap and I enjoyed everything I tried with their amber ale being my favorite. Prices were pretty reasonable and my partner enjoyed the whiskey so much, we ended up purchasing a bottle to take home with us. We would definitely return when we are back in Newport.
