Our gins are crafted with nature: water from our spring, home-grown botanicals, fresh honey from our bees. We re-sow, replant, give back to nature. Real craft means graft. When it’s time to distil, we question, experiment and invent epic gins, including some never imagined before. We do it in small batches in our gorgeous bespoke copper stills, Curiosity and Satisfaction. So, raise a glass with us: to craft, to the land, to laughter and loved ones. Located in the oldest retail building in Leicester, close to both 45 bars and overlooking Market Place, our stunning new venue offers you a unique insight into how to make gin and the magical world of distilling. Your 45 Gin School Experience lasts for 3 hours and includes – Cocktail & Gin infused Masterclass, Questions & Answers by our Distiller, complimentary Burleighs Gin & FeverTree tonic, choosing and blending botanicals to create your own unique recipe before distilling, bottling and labelling your craft gin creation ready to take home and drink at your leisure.

Wharf Distillery produces traditional still ciders, raw cider vinegar, mead, artisanal spirits and liqueurs using locally sourced apples and honey. Other ingredients are sourced within the UK or else ethically sourced from farther afield. All products are produced on site and anyone is welcome to come and see the processes in action, or to just visit the shop where the products may be pruchased alongside other locally produced jams, honey, craft beers and gins.

Situated at Bawdon Lodge Farm, our artisan distillery is the perfect countryside escape and offers a unique insight into the world of a gin distiller. We will unveil some of the industry secrets and showcase the true artisanal craftsmanship that goes into creating every bottle of Burleigh Gin. Burleighs Gin Academy: Tour our working distillery, discover the history of gin and find out what it takes to produce craft distilled gin. Whether you prefer floral, citrus or spicy notes, you’ll learn how to create your own unique gin using the botanicals of your choice. Our Distiller will guide you through the process of distilling your gin before bottling, corking and sealing your 70cl bottle ready to take home and enjoy!

White Peak Distillery is the first full-scale, craft distillery in the Peak District. Located in Shining Cliff Woods in Ambergate on the banks of the River Derwent, we’re passionate about creating authentic craft spirits (whisky, gin, rum, absinthe) and establishing a unique destination. Spirits available in Distillery shop; open for tours, tastings and advice on local walks. Weekly tours: Sat 11:00, 13:30 & 14:00 (booking required during pandemic (Covid-19 limit of 10 people)).
