I was staying in the adjoining campsite and they booked a table for me, I thought it was for the on site restaurant, but we were pointed in the direction of Food Pop which turned out to be a trendy restaurant. Very different for Southern Italy. There was a good selection on the menu, something for everyone and a decent wine list as well. The service was excellent, attentive, but not over the top. Food arrived timely and all drinks etc were delivered promptly. The food on the whole was good, I had tempura vegetables, the batter was a bit heavy for tempura and my wifeâs pizza was a bit soggy. She did enjoy the antipasto of cheeses with jams though. Special mention to the strawberry cheesecake, which was not a slice of UK cheesecake, a bit deconstructed, but excellent. A good restaurant and good value for money.

Great little place near to where we stayed. Ideal if you want fresh, quick and very tasty streetfood and nice to sit outside in the street people watching. Meats are all cooked on request so super fresh and beautifully flavoured. Made a nice change from other places with pizza and pasta to have the selections of meat dishes. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the wine was also lovely too. Good prices and great food.

Based on the Michelin recommendation, we expected an amazing sea food dinner at Al Pescatire. The fish was definitely fresh, but badly cooked (we asked for grilled and a fish in tomato sauce !). Staff is rushing around and highly inefficient and unfriendly. Price is the highest we paid in2 weeks vacation in Italy! 92eur for 2:(

This is probably the best meal we had in Gallipoli. Having favoured other restaurants according to recommendations and been very much disappointed, we weren't expecting a lot. However, we were greatly surprise by this place. First of all, we didn't need to book in advance. Secondly, I want to highlight that service was excellent. Very often food businesses think that good food is enough. This is not the case! A bad service can ruin a good meal as it happen to us before in other places in town. Food was honest and tasty, and portions were generous. We really enjoyed the prawn gnocci, asparragus ravioli, and the fig mousse. Also, they have a great selection of wine. Don't waste your money and time going to the "famous" restaurants. I highly recommend going to Trattoria La Stazione instead.

This agriturismo is located in a quiet area close to Gallipoli centre; the atmosphere is really nice and elegant, dishes are generous and tasty, prices are very reasonable,I had booked a table of 4 through The Fork and they respected the 20% discount on the overall bill.Well done.

Has outdoor seating which is nice.Interesting pasta options of spaghetti with sea urchin sauce and ears with prawn and pistachio sauce- both excellent but rather on the pricey side.Glasses of wine for white and rose was good.Desert was a let down with the unripe peach torte.Service is fine.

Forget the over-priced restaurants on Gallipoliâs high street. This place provides excellent food and beer. Great for families and great value for money. When you want to eat well without draining your wallet, go here! Staff extremely friendly. The food is SO tasty! We returned the next evening. Opens at 7:30pm . Great for tourists who eat earlier than Italian and have small children. Highly recommended. Loved the chocolate souffle. Drool!
