I visited this restaurant having recently moved to Alcester. The food was excellent and the service was great too. We were served by the restaurant owner who was extremely pleasant and felt like a valued customer. All of my friends enjoyed their meals and we will be visiting again!

Visited last night (have been many times previously) and we were told that the restaurant was under new ownership. We had been sat down at least ten minutes waiting for a menu and we had to ask for it!. Service not great by any means but food was divine and reasonably priced. Bob's special and chicken makhani. Food took a while to arrive but was hot and tasty.We met the new owner, lovely lady who welcomed our feedback.

Another great meal with friends at Avon Spice. Weâre local so have tried almost all the Indians in Stratford before choosing Avon Spice as clearly the best. The dishes are individually prepared, not generic curries like some places. The decor is modest but newly refreshed. Value is amazing. I recommend it unreservedly.

From reading all the reviews, i can only guess that the locals have not been to a decent restaurant. Service very friendly, prices reasonable. However, everything is red dyed and average. Other than some tandoori dishes, no Indian food is dyed red. The curries were red, the keema nan was red. Starters are red. Meat is red even in the curries. Food drowning in ghee. Naans were sweet , sweetened with sugar. The lamb is mutton and not lamb. Its what Indian food was years ago. If you like that kind of stuff then fine but if you want authentic good with depth of flavour than go elsewhere.

Honestly, this is the best Indian Iâve ever had. We were unpretentiously looking for an Indian at the land of Shakespeare (just to break the theme a bit) and came across this little piece of cuisine jewellery thatâs been there for over 30 years. I couldnât thank Google more for this, because even though there were quite a few choices of Indians around our hotel, Google ratings sent us straight away to this one. And boy, was it worth the walk! We chose the special menu, which gives you a few choices of starters, mains and side dishes (I had the garlic mushrooms in garlic sauce, the Badam chicken Pasanda and the Peshwari Nan (âstuffed with almonds and topped with golden syrupâ), and it was my best Indian ever! Not to mention the friendly staff and wonderful service we got there. We felt home here.

Went tonight with family of 4 cannot recommend this place enough tasty food lovely clean restaurant and very good service from Ali nothing was too much trouble take your time no rush he even came running after us when we left as I had left my phone on table definitely will be back

We visited on a Saturday night and it was busy with a great atmosphere.Iâve had takeaways from here before and not been overly impressed but so glad we visited the restaurant. The food was super, very well presented and the peshwari naan one of the best Iâve tasted. The portion sizes are generous to.

We went here last night with friends and had a Fabulous meal, we tried new things we would never have tried and the staff are so attentive they canât do enough for you, and kam is just amazing as always we have never had a bad meal and it is by far my favourite Indian around bidford and Stratford.
