Porthtowan Beach

Free parking at this time of the year which is great. Lovely beach to walk the dogs along when the tide is low, lots of rock pools to paddle in (dogs and me!) and lots of beach and rocks to sniff (dogs ;-)).

Porthtowan to Chapel Porth Circular Walk

A circular walk from Porthtowan, along the coast, valleys and woodland passing engine houses and other relics of Cornish copper mining. 4.7 miles. Steepness: moderate.

A very beautiful walk overlooking the cliffs with the beach and crystal blue waters below. Quite steep but very rewarding. Such a nice walk to do and had a nice breeze- no over heating! Went to the National trust cafe whilst on route ... very dog-friendly too!
