Nice place to let the children run.
They have a huge play area, a carousel, a mini zoo, a play haystack and nice ladies that paint the children's faces. Other fun activities for children are organised at week-ends, such as pumpkin carving.
The grocery shop is big and full of excellent organic food, fruit and vegies. There also is flower shop.
There is no restaurant, just a few stalls that sell soups, bread and waffels. But then again, contrary to other farms, it is not in the middle of nowhere so your can just hop into town to one of the restaurants.

Same shops as everywhere else in Germany. Nothing unique. Sometimes a struggle to find a parking space. The ice cream shop here is decent though.

nach einigen Grillkursen in der Vergangenheit wollten wir einmal etwas Neues ausprobieren und sind auf GIXX aufmerksam geworden. Für 99 EUR bekommt man hier echt etwas geboten. Die Zutaten sind vom Feinsten und man lernt in kleinen Gruppen echt viel. Fragen sind ausdrücklich erwünscht und es wird gerne darauf eingegangen. Das ganze ist abendfüllend mit 4-5 Stunden.
Im Vergleich zu anderen Grillkursen war das bisher mit Abstand der Beste!

Signatur: Gottfried Böhm. St. Ursula, ein einzigartiges Kirchenbau in Kalscheurener Landschaft. Bis 2006. Dann profaniert. Sitzbänke wurden rausgetragen, Kirchen Utensilien wurden anderswo untergebracht. Mag sein, dass als Galerie in guten Händen sein. Bodenschriften-, Deckengestaltung und Fenstergittern-wegen fühle ich eine tiefe Scham in dieser Kirche.
