Easy access from the M6 and plenty of parking near to the shops. Some shops are dog friendly but you may be better leaving your four legged friend at home to get most out of the shops. We went mid week to avoid the crowds.

We were staying in Gretna for two nights and wanted a pub that served real ale. We found the Queens Head only a short distance from our b&b. What a great local. We felt welcome and was able to share a few laughs with some of the locals. We enjoyed so much we returned for our second night. One hand pull real ale from a local brewery which was great. Don’t serve food, just bar snacks. Bar tender very nice. If you want a local experience in very clean and friendly environment stop in.
