Spa at Wynyard Hall

Reviewed By Hartlepoolchris - Hartlepool, United Kingdom

Having had regular pedicures at this spa prior to coronavirus lockdown I was dubious about returning. Having read measures put in place to re open safely I booked a luxury pedicure with Nicola. I was very impressed with pre appointment measures including questionnaire to fill in 48 hours before attending spa. On arrival staff welcomed me back with relevant ppe and took my temp before taking me to treatment room. Nicola made me really welcome and having a pedicure in such relaxing surroundings helped me relax straight away. As always the results were amazing and It felt like I’d got back some pre lockdown normality.Thank you wynyard hall spa staff. You ve thought of everything and I definitely recommend anyone to give it a go. I’m sure you ll be made to feel as safe and as welcome as I was. See you girls in a few weeks.

Wynyard Gardens

Reviewed By LauraT404 - Middlesbrough, United Kingdom

We visited the gardens in June 2019 to see the roses and were hoping to return this year but sadly covid19 spoilt that, so will have to try again next year in 2021! The gardens were lovely to wander around for a couple of hours in the sunshine with family. There is a £6 entrance fee per adult, but we enjoyed our birthday outing treat. The walled garden is quite small but we managed to spend a couple of hours here with family, having a leisurely stroll. There are many varieties of flowers to see and also fruit trees and vegetables. The roses are a highlight! There are also small fountains and water features, with lots of seating throughout so that you can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Parking is free but there is a £6p/p cost to enter the gardens.
