Quality Resort with Private Facility at Beautiful Beach of Sampieri

Reviewed By Rahel L

We chose the spot by its location close to a wonderful sandy beach at Sampieri. Efficient Cart transportation every 15 minutes from the resort to the beach. Private bar and free beach activities. Super friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Well maintained. 2x room service per day. Quite good food quality for a buffet. Negatives: air conditioning lacking cooling power. Around the clock music at the busy but very spacious pool.

Lovely hotel for our short break

Reviewed By SamiTink

Great hotel for our 3 day trip. Staff were very helpful and gave us some good recommendations for places for dinner. Room was a good size, well presented and we had a sea view with a balcony. Breakfast was very nice. On the first night we enjoyed a drink in the roof top bar and on the second night we dined at the roof top restaurant. The food was very good, the staff were very informative and helpful when navigating the menu which was in Italian and advised what i could have while pregnant.

Dark rooms desperately in need of an update

Reviewed By slocal

Situated in the Noto Valley about 20 minutes out of Noto. A spa hotel that is way past its prime. The rooms are dark. Somewhat clean, but after walking around you find your feet are black. Bed have newer foam mattresses that are very comfortable. The internet is very slow and intermittent. On the small end of standard sized rooms. The breakfast offerings limited. Beautiful surroundings. Can not comment on value as we were here on a tour. Excellent restaurant!

A well run boutique operation in lovely gardens. Quiet, exclusive and serene. Close to all the major places in the SE of Sicily. The town of Scicli is a must to visit , it’s off the tourist. Likewise Marzamemi with its quaint old Arab fishing cottages and el fresco eating spots. And of course Noto.

Holiday village: Like it, or choose a villa right at the sea

Reviewed By janaljubl

we were happy here because we got a villa next to the beach. we could hear the ocean all day and night, go swimming 3 or 5 times a day, and dry off on the lounge chairs in our own garden. at dinner time, we could sit on the terrace and see the blue sea. in the morning, just before leaving to the airport, we could take a sunrise dip in the ocean. sandy beach with a few rocky parts; actually the spot before nr 53 is a sweet spot - not too busy, not too rocky, somehow private. just be aware that this is a gated community, a holiday village with mass entertainment and rented beach chairs in 3 rows. but if you go off-season, or if you have kids and need the facilities, then it's just right. we enjoyed our stay a lot, although (via an airbnb booking) we expected something different -- in the end we loved it. thanks to the manager sujeewa who gave us the villa we wanted, and took good care of us. in general, the management / staff is very friendly, caring, charming, international, multilingual. we didnt try the restaurant; it was sort of OK for a bit of breakfast, but it has no atmosphere, more like the kiosque in a public swimming pool. Food may or may not be fine though, we just don't knowl. Surrounding: marzameni's "big square" is worth going to for dinner. gorgeous surprise with a wedding party or something, i guess they have that every other weekend. don't give up on the village before you reach that square.
