Stay in Hirak Jayanti Resort in Madarmoni
Reviewed By MihirC18This resort is among the budget resorts in Mandarmoni. Location is good near the central point. Rooms are not so big but neat and clean. Resort staff was cordial and helpful. Bathroom was reasonably clean, but without provisions of hot water. Room AC was good. Resort doesn’t have power back up. Food was good. They have two huts on the seaside which are very nice. Most of the people preferred to stay there and relax.

I am posting the exact review I wrote yesterday. 1. Room was cleaned @ 2pm 2. It's already 7pm. Still using yesterday's towel. No fresh towel is provided till now. 3. Yesterday we made tea with the tea utility provided by the hotel. They took the cups back and till now didn't get new tea utility. 4. Once you have your meals in the room, and keep the plates out, it will be cleaned after 4/5 hours. It feels very unhygienic. 5. We ordered tea at pool side this evening. It took almost 1 hour to serve the tea, after giving several reminders. And moreover, the staff who brought the tea, was searching for guests from wrong room number. Though we were telling him, that tea was ours, still he didn't agreed to serve us. We are paying 4000/-+GST per day. Still getting this poor service. This is a new property. Till now it is clean. But with this house keeping, I don't know how many days it will remain the same. Pathetic experience. The only USP of the hotel is it's position. I will not recommend anyone to stay here. And the strange thing is, owner of the hotel is present in the hotel right now.

Reviewed By Sachin COnly hotel in Haldia and seems to be happening place Old charm. A slight improvement in faucets, towels and bathrooms will go a long way. The old furniture looks good. The bar is cozy and relaxing. Food is good. Service is good.quiet and relaxing place. Has all the other facilities like gym, swimming pool. Breakfast spread is limited but good. Seafood preparation Bengal style is awesome.

Reviewed By amrita_p_mWe have stayed ac deluxe room and both the rooms are same price but one room is specious and another is very small. We have stayed in first floor which has a Swimming pool view .Hotel is situated at the end of the beach. The road is very rough and patchy. If you go with bike then be careful. Pros: location is good in fact best. Bathrooms were clean and well equipped. The water of swimming pool is clean Beach is just outside hotel campus. During high tide, sea comes quite close to the hotel they have children play area . food is good but costly they have lawn which is the best place(I think) .There is a separate evening snacks and bar counter called Mohana Cafe.This is also good. cons: price of the rooms are little high. Internet speed was terrible. The behavior of the staffs are average. restaurant is not so spacious I don't know about the cottages but the maintenance in the main building room was average. there is no shops nearby. Hardly find one small tea stall

Reviewed By arkajyoti143It was a fantastic experience at Tajpur. It is located only at a distance of 8 minutes from the sea. The rooms were good. The behaviour of the staff was warm and friendly. The food was also good. Indoor games are available. We played badminton in the evening. The biggest attraction is the availability of 4 swings. Kids as well as adults will enjoy.
