A well laid out course with a number of challenging holes. We found it to be a long course and glad of the buggy we hired. Something here for all levels of golf.

Kippure Education & Adventure

Reviewed By Bozeman-Dublin - Trim, Ireland

Gorgeous place for a walk. I love Kippure Estate and try to come back at least once a year for a river study. Outstanding level of expertise from the rangers and educational staff, very good facilities and of course it is blessed with the most magnificent, wild, rugged mountain scenery. Some wonderful trails to enjoy and the wild flowers and the rest of the flora and fauna ate just beautiful to see. I've reviewed it before a long while back but felt it was deserving of another more up-to-date review to show the place has lost none of its splendour. We had another thoroughly enjoyable day out in the fresh air by the river Liffey. Such a tranquil and picturesque place. Looking forward to my next visit already.

I'll be perfectly honest, I joined the club to get an official GUI handicap so that I could go off and play around other "better" courses with societies. Well, at only €150 with no joining fee that was good enough for me. However after my first game here I was absolutely smitten. The staff and players are just so friendly Yes there are only nine holes but they are really challenging. Every hole has different features including a huge creator to play over(or out of) on the 2nd and 9th. There are 18 tee boxes which make most of the holes play differently on the back nine. If you're a long hitter you won't be disappointed either with par fours over 450y and get this, a 605y par 5 to finish!...And is quiet. Most of the time you can virtually have the course to yourself and sourounded by the hills and lakes it's stunningly beautiful. For a club which is run mostly be volunteers I was amazed at the top class condition of the greens and fairways even after heavy rain. I much prefer it to "better" places. So I joined ????
