Wilcox Lake

Reviewed By wandersoles - Toronto, Canada

It is a lovely park in all seasons but particularly beautiful in summer with the light shining off the water and the ducks and canoes. It has a great walking track/ board walk and lots of spots to stop and just take in the tranquility of the lake. It has a super tiny beach fit for toddlers , a great park and decent parking.

Beautiful “park”. No play structures for young ones, but great trails to hike, plus off leash dog park. Great for photography! Nice backdrops!

Mill Pond Park

Reviewed By katherinebeck2020 - Richmond Hill, Canada

This is my weekly go to for walking my dog or running through the pathways! Mill pond has more than just a pond. There is a newly designed park equipped with swings, slides, climbing structures for children's play. The pond has many ducks and geese (with signs DO NOT FEED the Wildlife - as bread is a health danger to these creatures) for viewing up close. There are extensive pathways around the north end of the pond that wind around to different access points (on streets). There is a small field at the top of one path (north west of the pond) that has a sheltered area with picnic tables for a large family gathering. There is street access to this field on Willett Crescent. Through the summer months, there are concerts in the park - free for all and great for families. Check it out!
