Just a step away from the buildings, you can enjoy the unique nature, with moraines created during the ice melting, and an infinite number of sculptures in stone, shaped by sea and ice. Take a walk along the beach, or a take village tour – notice how green the grass is, pick flowers, breathe in the sea smell, and observe the sheep on the mountain. This was an enjoyable hike with an iconic Instagram-point near the top. Parking at the end of the road at Fredvang. You will find two options and both are close to the trailhead. NOK 100 for a day. Nice terrain and superb photos taken on top (and under) the rock at the top, with Kvalvika beach as backdrop. Please take care of yourself when taking these photos, we do not want anyone to get hurt on our landmarks. The terrain is mud and gravel and you will use 1-2 hours to the top, depending on how fit you are. Enjoy!
