The Hopton Hotel

Fantastic value for money, lovely staff, great location. Would recommend ?

Myself and my 10 year old daughter stayed at the Hopton Hotel overnight in a budget double room and we were not disappointed! The hotel itself is in an excellent location and is only a short walk from the Promenade shops and amenities. On arrival the owner was very welcoming and kindly offered us secure, free car parking behind her locked gate during our stay! The hotel bar and lounge was very clean and offers homely traditional Blackpool feel. Our room itself was very clean and cosy, the bed was comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. Plenty of complementary tea, coffee biscuits also provided. The room overall was great value for money! Our cooked breakfast was lovely and very tasty. "The bacon was the best!" According to my daughter and they even gave her an extra piece which she was very happy about. There were cereals and fresh juice, tea/coffee provided and they offered pancakes if my daughter prefered them instead of the cooked breakfast option. The staff could honestly not do enough for us and were lovely. I would definately stay here again and will be returning to the Hopton Hotel with the rest of my family. Thank you Hopton Hotel!

We booked a room last minute for a night. Me my husband and two year old daughter. Staff were friendly on arrival, the location was very good easy access to the main amusements. The room basic and clean. Could do with some proper teabags but happy. Very quiet on a night and would definitely book again.

Lovely guest house well worth 5 stars, warm friendly welcome from Douglas, we stayed in double en-suite rooms 10 & 11 which were spotlessly clean & fresh. Had a great sleep the beds are very comfortable. Fantastic tasty full English breakfast - perfect eggs. Excellent central location down a quiet side street, car park only a 5 minute walk away. We’ll definitely be using the Devon guest house for all our future Blackpool stays Thanks for a lovely stay

We are due to go here on the 27th October I have rang several times no answer and left voicemails asking for them to contact me regarding my booking. I have emailed and messaged on booking.com no reply. It is now the day before we are due to go they still haven't taken payment and I am ment to be traveling by train with 2 children and can't risk getting there and the accommodation been cancelled. I think booking.com need to remove this accommodation from there site as there has just not been any kind of correspondence from the company. Looking at the recent reviews I don't seem to be the only person who has been having issues with this place. It's a shame as we was looking forward to going.

The Beach Hotel and Apartments

October 2021

Reviewed By kimcktuffs

Stayed for the night in October, we chose this as it was dog friendly. Overall the place itself wasn't too bad. The room was cleaned, there was 5 of us plus our German Shepherd and we had a split room. 1 room consisted of a double bed, wardrobe, t.v and sofa with views of the sea front, and the other room had 1 double bed and a bunk bed with tea and coffee making facilities. My issue was that the shower drain in the bathroom seemed to block up pretty quickly and the window in the bedroom wouldn't shut properly so it was a little cold.
