My Husband and I have just experienced our dream wedding at this truly amazing hotel. Our experience was one to be remembered for a life time. All of the staff were professional at all times and always happy to help. The rooms were comfortable but ventilation is poor so I would recommend taking your own Fan if you struggle with sleeping due to heat. The food was excellent and of high standard. Tawry, our wedding planner was very good and always replied to my emails promptly answering all of my questions no matter how big or small they were. Sharon, the food and beverage manager was like my guardian angel during my wedding day, she honestly goes above and beyond her duties and her passion for helping individuals shines through at all times. She is very attentive with a keen eye for detail. Thank you!

Stayed here over the jubilee weekend with friends. Booked two rooms got them together outside of the hotel Rm55/56 tired looking rooms very hot on arrival but had a comfortable stay once the Windows were left open. Didn’t get let into our rooms until 4pm ( hour later than expected) asked for meals for the weekend in the evenings but told no room. No spa treatments available until Oct ? so the swimming pool was luckily ok to use. Walked into town 10 mins to get meals. Breakfast but if a let down first morning but improved next day. Both days had weddings on so I guess weddings took priority over other guests as we spoke to others who couldn’t book a meal either ! Had to WhatsApp staff for a drink at the bar ? all in all we had a good break but wouldn’t stay here again.

17th century farmhouse bed and breakfast just 10 minutes drive from Ironbridge World Heritage site. 3 double/twin en-suite bedrooms furnished with comfortable beds and antique furniture.
My partner & I stayed at Church Farm for 3 nights at the start of Feb 2022 and we couldn't have had a lovelier time. It is in a beautiful location, the hosts are truly lovely people & couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and with a very comfy bed. The facilities & amenities offered were fantastic & very accommodating. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! My partner had the full English every day and he loved it. He loved the homemade marmalade & jam so much, we asked if we could buy some! The food was really exceptional. Also, seeing the chickens & meeting the hosts dogs was a highlight! For evening meals, the hosts gave us some great recommendations which were spot on & made our stay even better. Overall, we cannot recommend this B&B highly enough, everyone should stay here at some point!

I am a regular visitor to Shifnal and have stayed at the Lodge a few times, I was there for 3 nights over the weekend this time. Always immaculate and such a warm welcome from the lovely Mick & Judy. Close to the town centre but on a quieter street giving best of all worlds. Can’t recommend the Anvil Lodge enough.

We were welcomed by friendly, courteous and helpful staff, but the meal ……. WOW! Without doubt the best Indian meal we’ve had in a long long time. The starters were beautifully cooked and presented. The main meals similar with perfect rice and breads to boot. We will be returning for sure and we won’t be leaving it too long either.

The staff of this Pub/Inn were friendly if a little disinterested. The bed was clean. That's the best bits. The toilet seat was broken. The shower door was broken. The only way to keep the window open was with a clothes hanger (provided). This would have been OK if it wasn't for one thing. The room was filthy. Utterly filthy. Cobwebs stretched over the armchair and down the wall above the bed. The kettle and accompanying cups were thick with dust. The room was disgusting and I'm surprised this place is allowed to have guests to stay. Never staying there again.
