We had a great help from HBD booking office I South African and specially from Carmen who gave us all the help in the world and always responded with quick replies. Since we traveled with a 1 year old boy they provide a bed for him and made all the experiences tailor made for us. A big big thank you also to the guides David and Felipe. We where also treated to a surprise valentines dinner on the Beach which will always stay in our memories.

One of the best remote luxury spot

Belonging to the same group the new Sandy Praia is an astonishing place and we’ll keep secret. If you like remote locations, pure nature and high level of luxury and service, this is a unique spot. We try to find this kind of locations around the globe and Sandy Praia will stay on top 3 of more than 25 spots we visit on the last decade. A special word to Delfina Santos, the GM, that surprised us every day with fantastic tours, lunch’s and dinners. All this takes more value when you are is such a logistic remote place. We stayed in - what i think is called the garden rooms - anyway they look out onto the garden and are not in the main house, but they were really nice and comfortable. The main part of the hotel is great, we enjoyed sitting on the various terraces watching the sun set and the gorgeous view. The beach (yes it's down a steep twisty road - but it's a nice walk, and if you don't fancy the walk back the hotel come and pick you up) is just lovely. The staff are so friendly and kind - even when we were an hour late for a trip we had booked . Thank you so much - we had a really lovely time.

A good base for Principe
Reviewed By AssofjdExcellent value for money with clean rooms and excellent fish dinner , the fresh pineapple for breakfast was superb, espresso 1 euro, fish dinner 8 euro and superbock 1 euro, powerful shower with hot water , fully functional air conditioning and no power cuts, only downside was internet was only available in lobby/restaurant

This is a new place we just open 7 weeks ago, located at heart of Principe Island city, between papagaio river and seaside, the rooms are well comfortable with air condition, flat tv DVD player, fridges.

Rito the very helpful owner, who speaks English, will provide transport to and from the airport, help organise guides with cars to take you around the Island and advise you where to eat nearby

Reviewed By graca4lifeThis was the worst place I've seen by far. Even though we didn't stay they still wanted to charge us for the nite! I told the worker we wouldn't be staying as soon as we saw our room, so we started making other arrangements, but they went as far as making a police file cuz we refused to give them 35 euros!
