Sotto i Sassi - Bed and Breakfast

A most welcoming retreat

Reviewed By CJLeisure

My wife and I stayed here with our infant son for five days. Matteo is a lovely fellow and a tremendous host. His attention to detail is everywhere here - in the restoration of this beautiful farmhouse, in the comfortable and chic rooms, in the excellent breakfasts, in the treatment of his guests. The place feels luxurious without being overdone. We especially enjoyed the location - situated in a national park and far away enough to feel truly removed, yet close enough to make easy day trips to Bologna, Modena, Parma, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better home base to explore the region.
