Myself and my girlfriend came on Saturday to this hotel and there was a big wedding going on. Despite the crazy crowds and broken lift and missing key cards causing Alex all kinds of stress he was extremely nice and helpful. He offered us a free drink and upgraded our room which was amazing because some other customers from the wedding were being so rude to him when he was doing a fantastic job. Extremely impressed with the room, service and breakfast was nice too. Huge thanks to Alex for being so accommodating and wish him and his 2 kids the best. Thanks for making the weekend so memorable we will definitely be back!

We arrived having had our flights cancelled mid afternoon and was greeted by a young man called Izi (I think). He was extremely nice and very welcoming. He could not do enough for us and is an asset to your company. The hotel is a bit outdated, but still clean. Please pass our thanks onto Izi.

We arrived on the Friday early evening to check in ready to travel to Knebworth the following day. The girls on the front desk were fab and so helpful, we went for drinks and a snack later on and again the girls were helpful and really lovely. The rooms were spotless and perfect for what we needed. I was really impressed with the iron and ironing board in the rooms. Nicoletta, soley, Megan and kitti were all amazing and so helpful, they are a credit to the company! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed at Redwings lodge as we were attending a wedding, the staff were amazing and could not do enough we had two rooms and had a slight issue with one of the tvs, which once pointed out to thre receptionist was rectified imediately. The rooms were basic but spotlessly clean with comfy bed and tea and coffee making facilities. The view from the room window was amazing as we could see accross the country side. We arrived back late from the wedding reception and was greeted by a very friendly hotel staff member who stopped for a chat asking had we enjoyed our evening. The breakfast in the morning was a help your selfe to cereals, toast , orange juice and yogurts which was just what we needed. There is a restaurant which offers full english but we were quite happy with the hotels Freebie. Will definately stay again when we are back in the area and we may bring our pet dog Charlie with us as we found out it is a pet friendly hotel. Basic simple budget hotel with amazing staff and clean comfortable rooms.

Ate in here a couple of times during the week and food was absolutely fine - alternative to the Holiday Inn Express around the corner. Friendly and efficient service although there were a number of beers that weren't available. Monday was good value at £10.50 for 2 on certain dishes !
