Amazing views, good option for budget travel
Reviewed By armrestdominanceWithout a doubt, the main reason you would stay at Hotel Valleverde is the view over Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. It is as amazing as it looks in the photos. Be careful when booking though, any rooms listed as mountain view, refers to the road side of the hotel and view of the mountain it is on, not Mt Vesuvius. Those rooms are listed as panoramic view. Staff were friendly and courteous, but English is not well spoken. Breakfast was ok, standard sweet pastries, juice and small bowls of cereal. The room was huge and had a large bathroom, sun room and balcony with sun lounges. The whole hotel is super clean and they're fully Covid-19 compliant, so no concerns about health and safety. There's private gated parking next to the hotel and also off street parking immediately outside the entrance. There is a bus that passes by the hotel, but really you would need a car if you wanted to stay here. Easy access to Pompeii via a highway (toll) and the Amalfi coast (over the mountain). There's a couple of restaurants further down the mountain which are nice places to eat and vastly cheaper than along the coast.

Quiet, peaceful location and a great base for visiting the Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Naples and Reggio di Caserta. Delicious breakfasts made from local produce and access to kitchen facilities. Lovely hospitality.

Reviewed By Sue HWe stayed last two nights. Really enjoyed our stay. Guiseppe and his wife made us really welcome and went out of their way to assist us. He even drove us into Angri to a fabulous Restaurant and came back and picked us up later. The room ..."Amalfi" was clean, modern and very quiet with magnificent views of Mt Vesuvius and the surrounding areas. The breakfast was simple but adequate...the cappuccino prepared by Guiseppe was excellent! We definitely recommend Villa Mola and would stay there again.
