This was a great adventure! We saw tons of monkeys and the boat ride around the canal was incredible! I would highly recommend this tour. Also the tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to our loads of questions.

Just back from Panama. Booked this company through Viator for a private transfer from our Panama City hotel to a resort in Rio Hato. Being Canadian, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited ONE AND A HALF HOURS for them to show up. We called them at least three times and were told each time that a car was either coming or already on its way. NEVER SHOWED UP. We ended up taking another company and paying out of pocket for that trip. Viator refunded our money completely and we feel sorry for Viator, but they need to REMOVE this company from their listing.

If you have little time, this tour is ideal for getting a view of two of Panama City's top attractions. You will visit the Miraflores Visitor Center and Locks Museum on the Panama Canal. One of the 3 locks of the Panama Canal, where you will live a unique experience of the Panama Canal. You will find various activities where you will learn and fully enjoy the Panama Canal, such as a theater, exhibition halls, 4 floors of observation decks, terraces, a restaurant and a gift shop. Then, you will cross the Gamboa rainforest by private minivan, reaching the docks where your boat is waiting to take you to Monkey Island. You are sailing directly on the famous Panama Canal and where you can meet large container ships. On Monkey Island, you can see monkeys up close like the White-faced Capuchin or the Tamarin Geoffreys (titi).

We had a great time taking our 14-year old grandson to see Fort San Lorenzo and Colon. The three of us were the only ones on the tour that day so we had our tour guide's undivided attention. Both guides (husband and wife) were very personable and knowledgeable about the area. They really enjoy the area and it shows! We had a great time at the fort, and stopping to take pictures of howler monkeys on our drive. The train ride from Colon to Panama City was nice and quiet with lovely views along the way. We were provided drinks on the mini van and snacks and drinks for the train ride. Our tour guides were waiting to welcome us back to Panama City when we got off the train and took us back to our hotel for drop off. We really enjoyed our day.
