Oya Heiwa Kannon

This huge statue is almost hidden among the huge stone hills opposit Oya-ji. As always, the Kannon statue portrays a feeling of calmness and kindness. It's worth taking the short walk across from Oya-ji to see it. Tip: Buy the 1-day Oya Bus Pass to sve some money and for convenience. (See details of this in my other review on Oya History Museum)
