Great Stay!
Reviewed By TanPrisWe stayed in the 4 bedroom villa during our recent family trip to Khaoyai from 16-18 March. The villa is spacious enough to accommodate 11 of us. Clean rooms, quiet surroundings, most importantly the location of the resort is so convenient, 5 mins drive to Palio, chocolate factory. We had BBQ just outside our villa, the staff were there to serve us too. The Resort Manager Goy whom I communicate with throughout my whole booking was a patient nice lady, our needs and queries were reply promptly. The only thing is tap water in the bathroom were slow so if you are used to bathing under heavy running water it might irritates you : [ The breakfast were quite simple and limited choices. But overall I highly recommend this resort if you intend to plan a trip to khaoyai.

Reviewed By Walter SNice hotel, right behind Chocolate Factory. Good environment with nice scenery with lots of photo shoot areas. Good for family with kids where the kids can move around the vicinity. No breakfast provided but can get breakfast at Chocolate Factory or nearby local eateries. Bicycles provided to move around too!

Bad service
Reviewed By Michel KThe only star they get from us is for the view and how it looks from outside... but the service is not really good. There is nobody that speaks english to inform you about the area. They don't offer tours. There is not a lot of food. The bed was dirty and still hairs on the pillow. I asked if one of the staff could bring us to our next place because there is not a lot of public transport but they didn't want to do that.. they said you can walk to mainroad and take a minivan. We contacted our next stay Te Mata and they said to pick us up in an hour.. so luckely they offerd us a good service. I am very dissapointed because i had good hopes coming here because there where a lot of issues in Bangkok with paying this acommodation but the owner said.. just come and don't worry. But when we arrived there is no english speaking staff to help. The place needs to be clean for the price you have to pay.. this was worth 500 bath at the most..

Reviewed By mallymoon9Beautiful place as you stay in Japan. Nice support staffs and they provide Ukata suit for guest to wear as Ryokan style. Nice room with full facilities. Nice garden to take a picture. But not enough seat for Breakfast (8.00-10.00).

Disappointing!
Reviewed By buenosairesrWe have been to Khao Yai before at other resorts. This time we tried Romantic Residence. We would not recommend this place compared to other resorts in the same price range. The staff hardly speaks English, hotel room/appartment not designed with the user in mind (no reading lamps and bedside tables, air con in the middle of room and ice cool air on your head when lying in the bed). Besides, the style is not romantic at all and the pool is situated in the Romantic Hotel Resort which reminds of a shopping mall where nobody wants to lie quietly by the pool. The views from the room/appartment to the mountains was nice!
