Fabulous hotel, just book it now!
Reviewed By Barbs25We had the most amazing 4 nights at this hotel and were so sad to leave! The staff were incredible from arrival, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Apologies I can’t remember everyone’s names but Poppy, Zee and all the staff were just incredible. So friendly, accommodating and truly couldn’t so enough for you. Our room was very clean, spacious and the beds were comfy too. The bathroom was nice and modern, rainfall shower was lovely. Robes and slippers were a nice touch as well as all toiletries being provided. Towels were big and fluffy and so were the pool towels. Our terrace area was huge and the jacuzzi was great to have there along with sun beds. Breakfast was included and made to order each day. You can choose what you like the night before and change it as you like. Everything from omelette to fruit, yoghurts, coffee, juices - all fabulous and cooked freshly for you. No other food was available for lunch as the hotel has just reopened but they had a great local takeaway that delivered lovely gyros to us for lunch (they take card and reception can help you place the order). Th bar offers a lot of drinks options and they served us by the pool most days (it was quiet so we just nipped down to reception when we needed anything and someone came up to us. The water was free, a large bottle in the room each day and by the pool too. We thought that was a nice touch as most places really rip you off for it. Other drinks as well were well priced like Pimms cocktails at 9€ (fira town start from about 14!) There is a free shuttle 3 times a day to get to fira which was really handy. You can get a taxi but it’s 10-15€ which is a bit mad for a 5 min drive. You could walk it but it’s not a great walk and may take 20-30 mins. Nowhere to walk to from the hotel really but that’s what we loved about it as it’s more remote which offers better privacy than the hotels in the towns. All staff worked so hard, they’re up early cleaning around the pool and making sure the walkways are swept too. The only notes for improvement we have is that more hooks would be useful to dry towels and a rack outside too. Also we booked a room for 3 which was shown as a double bed and double sofa bed but this was actually single sofa bed. Otherwise we really loved the place and would absolutely come back. For the service etc it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed in the world.

The company delivered the car to the hotel and picked it up, the process was super easy. The hotel is charming, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast has many choices. The room is cute, has a fridge and coffee maker, comfy bed, shower products are made of olive oil, amazing! The pool was cold, unfortunately. I recommend this affordable property in Fira.

Sienna Eco Resort offers the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday to be with friends or family. Enjoy beautiful views of the sea, view of the Fira town and amazing sunrises. It consists of 6 beautiful private villas with traditional architecture, spacious rooms, large outdoor garden area and private swimming pools in front of each villa. Also a very nice apartment with an outdoor jacuzzi and spacious rooms. There are totally 2 Premium Villas, renovated in 2020, with private pools, 3 Two-Bedroom Villas with private pools, 1 Two-Bedroom House with private pool and 1 Two-Bedroom apartment on the ground floor with an outdoor heated jacuzzi. The resort is located at Exo Gyalos which is a part of Fira, in a private and quiet area (3km from the centre of Fira), close to nice beaches and local attractions. By car it is a 5-minutes drive from the centre of Fira the capital of the island. All the accommodations of Sienna Eco Resort offer a large living room with comfortable sofa bed, two bedrooms with double beds or single beds, one or two bathrooms, large verandas - patios, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a private pool for each villa with lounge patio, sun beds and umbrellas. Especially the Premium villas offer additionally extra pool for kids. All the villas offer private parking space. Five minutes from Sienna Eco Resort is the Exo Gyalos beach which is very famous and ideal to have lunch or just drink a cock- tail by the sea.

Reviewed By Helen HAlthough the manager Stelios was very helpful (he supplied us with WhatsApp number so we could book taxi’s) he had to go away as had a family emergency. We were the only villa booked for the week albeit a family did turn up one evening then left the next morning. Not sure why. Stelios was living under our villa under separate entrance. Not much privacy although the gardens are new so in future probably will give more privacy. Villa was clean and large. Not keen on handheld showers in both bathrooms. Did not get daily maid service. They forgot to deliver our breakfast one morning. Like another reviewer said not sure why is has ‘eco’ in the title - plastic wrapped food and toiletries. Pleasant stay. Weather fab but small swimming pool was just too cold. Need to hire a car as booking taxis gets very expensive. Very friendly island.

Reviewed By ambierWe stayed there for a week, in this accommodation each apartment has each own shade of colors. Ours had shades of dark orange, there were little details that we surprised us like candles, atomic portions of butter, marmalade free of charge in the refrigerator. Our room was clean and had all amenities, staff was very hospitable. Our room was looking to the east side of Santorini, on days with low humidity we could make out the island of Anafi! Despite the fact that the accommodation is located on a main and busy road of Fira, we could not hear a thing since the room was looking at the opposite direction. The only negative fact if you like, is the distance from the center of Fira, it is about 10 min walking distance, including a steep ascend towards the end of the route.

AVOID! Non existent customer service or flexibility
Reviewed By 184clairegBooked & paid in advance, due to travel May 2020. They allowed us to postpone for 12 months & reschedule our booking. Due to Covid restrictions and border closures, we were unable to leave Australia & the tour company we booked with haven't run tours at all in 2021 or 2022. The hotel kept our AU$470 and refused to reschedule our booking. Every other hotel we had booked with were happy for us to postpone. We didn't demand a refund, we just want to be able to come here as we paid for. Disgusting customer service.
