Reviewed By daee2022Peace Hotel is hands down your best choice when staying in Mogadishu. Close to the airport, stellar security, great food, friendly and kind staff. Feels like home. Fast wifi, lots of places to have meetings and get work done, and delicious cappuccinos. Highly recommend! They also offer airport pickup for a charge I believe, just ask when booking.

I felt safe and there is a restaurant which serves good food. From the hotel terrace you have a great view over the city to the sea.

Good and safe place to visit
Reviewed By PDM77059Somalia is a challenging place. Here you can get security, meals and comfortable lodging very close to the airport. We stayed one night in room 7. They have very good air conditioning--a rarity in Somalia, lots of bottled water in the room, and many electric plugs for charging devices. There is a full sized bed with one chair and desk, tiled floor and free standing closet. You dont really expect much in Somalia but finding all of these items in one place is really great. The negatives: no TV, no microwave, no fridge, no wash cloth, no Kleenex. But you are warned about this ahead of time so it is easy to prepare. There is free wifi and the reception is very good for reliable connectivity. Value: difficult to say because there is little to compare it to. Also given the highly restrictive environment of a war zone all around, this is the kind of place you hope to find. I highly recommend staying here.

Reviewed By MartinW2721wenn m an schon in eines der gefährlicheren Länder reisen muss, beruflich bedingt, spürt man jede Annehmlichkeit doppelt. Wohl gefühlt im Hotel, doch nicht sicher im Land..., es wird noch viele Jahre dauern, bis die Stadt wieder ihren alten Charakter wiederbekommt....
