After living in Argentina for two years we werenât sure what to expect when we learned about this Argentine restaurant in the middle of Livorno. Daniel and his team have created a truly authentic experience with food that makes you feel like you are in Buenos Aires or Mendoza. The restaurant is upscale but they were so kind to our child under 2 and made us feel at home. First we enjoyed the free amuse-bouche âEl Artisaâ ragu appetizer on toast, then we ordered the empanadas which were very good. Along with the house wine we ordered the Parillia for 2, and the âAngusâ cut was the tastiest steak weâve had since we left Argentina. They got it right. There was an amazing amount of food for the price and the service was friendly and welcoming- we even had a limoncello on the house at the end. Parking can be difficult on the street but there is a lot around the corner and if you need help call ahead and he will clear a space for you. They also have live music every Saturday. Weâll definitely visit again!

This is a hidden gem. Located round the side of the Hotel Grande Pallazo (almost in its basement) the food here was simply brilliant and the young staff were very good. Its not pricey at all. Such a warm greeting when we arrived. The view from the Restaurant over the town of Livorno is wonderful and started the evening off extremely well..The menu is diverse and has the biggest selection of Steaks I have seen for a long time. My wife, who's less of a steak eater was treated to a special from the Chef that was exceptional. Nothing on the menu but a meal cooked just for her so, thank you for your kindness.A truly great experience.There's a lot of Scottish influence in this Restaurant that shines through with their hospitality.I would recommend this place to anybody especially if you like steaks!Thank you!! It was great to meet you and we're very pleased you enjoyed your meal at Ghinè Cambrì! Hope to see you both again when you come back to Italy. Ciao!

This is an exceptional place. It's all about the food, the wine and you. Although they do great pizza's ( where in Italy doesn't ) the steak is definitely the main event. Sold by the kilo, choose wisely, take advice from the very knowledgeble staff and then enjoy with a superb range of wines.

This restaurant is a little aways from the train station/city center but offers a great view of another section of Tuscany! I guess you would expect that such a restaurant at this location would be overpriced with mediocre food, but we were pleasantly surprised by both! Two words of caution, we almost didn't get seated on the patio because we came at 3 pm. There is no "warning" on the restaurant's website so plan to eat lunch earlier in the afternoon. Second, getting a cab from the restaurant back to the city (or in our case the train station) takes a bit f time and we ended up missing our train. So just another thing to plan accordingly for ahead of time.
