This is such a great place. Whilst its not on the main square, its on the way and is absolutely fantastic. Great selection of wines, superb cocktails and all at really great prices. Always a superb selection of nibbles to go with the drinks, and outstanding friendly service. We were here almost every night, for pre and post dinner drinks.

If you are looking for excellent food whist sitting in the calm of the countryside then this restaurant is perfect. The views from the patio are beautiful and the small fishing lake behind offers a picturesque backdrop. The food is delicious. We choose: soup, cheeses, hams, pasta and salad. Every dish was tasty and the ingredients fresh. We were there as a family however it would be a perfect place for anyone.

We have been staying at Lago dâOrta for many years and often take the boat up to Omegna for the market and lunch.This year we discovered Ai Centrale - a bistro just behind the main street. Really glad we did. This is the best restaurant we have found in Omegna. The food was âdelicatoâ but full of flavour. Good wine list - try the Nervi Gattinara. Service excellent.Alla prossima!

Over our 10-day stay in the Mergozzo area we came back to this restaurant 3 times, which says a lot! Carlo, the owner/manager, is wonderfully Italian in his hospitality and approach - will make you feel comfortable and at ease. Food is served with some fantasy and is very good too, sprinkled, naturally, with some local wine, chosen be the chef himself :) Not to miss if you are dining in Mergozzo!Asia_Be Dear, Thank you for your review, your opinion is very important to us!
