Watersports located in the middle of Ballinskelligs beach offering Surfing, Wind-surfing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and Kids Camps. Gear and wetsuit rentals also available. Kenmare has its very own Scuba Diving school with fun Snorkeling & guided Scuba Diving trips for complete beginners to qualified divers running daily throughout the summer. On the 3 hour 'Try a Dive' programme the Instructor provides a warm wet suit & brief orientation of the equipment & the dive site. An exhilarating scenic boat trip takes you to explore tranquil island inlets, where one can enjoy the dramatic scenery & amazing biodiversity of sea life. In a beautiful sheltered lagoon you learn to use scuba equipment in standing depth water & take that first magical underwater breath as you are carefully guided through the lagoons abundant marine life. The dive centre is based at the stunning harbour of Kilmackilogue or you can be collected by boat at Oysterbed Pier, Sneem. Non divers, who wish to just take in the beautiful sea views, life jackets are available for hire. Staff provide informative commentary on the sites of interest & wildlife from bird life to dolphins & whales.
