It is the largest populated municipality of North Malabar. Thalassery has been a historically significant location over the past five centuries in the Malabar region. Thalassery municipality has a population just under 100,000. Thalassery has an area of 23.98 square kilometres (9.26 sq mi). It is 22 km south of the district headquarters in Kannur town. Thalassery is situated in an altitude ranging from 2.5m to 30m above mean sea-level.

An Amazing day tour at kochi!! Was planning to write a review for tyndis after experiencing tyndis day tour in kochi. 1, I would like to appreciate the story teller- Mr. Midhun For reciting the hidden history of fort kochi and accompanying me to all the historic spots Which i always had a plan to visit. We went to few cafes and well recommended one is pepper house. 2. Was quite lucky to be there at the fishing spot and got a chance to join the fisherman and experience the Chinese fishing net. There were also small eateries specialized for seafood where you can experience live cooking of fish. I tried the authentic kerala style Thava fish which was truly delicious. 3. By evening we went to Iringol kavu which is really a must recommend Place where we did an amazing walk through the sacred groves. Once again thanks to the entire tyndis family for being so passionate about what they are doing and special thanks to Midhun for being an awesome story teller.

We first experienced the positive vibes at Buddhas enlightenment spot "Bodhgaya", spent time understanding buddhist belifs. We proceeded then to the Imposing hills of Rajgir, king Ajatshatru's cave was a wonder located hilltop. finally the Nalanda ruins told the wisdom of the erstwhile students of the buddhism round the globe. we traversed through the rustic roads and countryside
5. Cochin to Goa - The Malabar Coast (9 Days)
The Southern part of the coast from Goa to Kanya Kumari is called Malabar Coast. This part of the coast is not as rocky as the Konkan Coast. All along the coast sand bars have been formed by the sea-waves. The sea waves bring sand with them and deposit it along the coast.
