Oficina da Moura is a ceramic workshop in the center of Soajo, aiming to revive the memory of the earth, working stories into ceramic itself: enchanted Mouras and their boulders; owls, wolfs and serpents; heathers, hollies and birches; myths, cairns and stars that in ancient times guided shepherds and cattle amongst these mountains. Old granaries of Soajo are situated on the edge of the village. There is a free entrance (October 2020) and free camper parking place with toilettes only 50 m away. We saw many similar granaries in the nature of other locations but those in Soajo are well kept and you can admire many of them in one peaceful place. There are interesting paths around the village as well, we walked only 1 hour around: we saw old mills, old stony roads, nice houses and all this surrounded by vineyards. Really amazing place!
