We received a warm welcome and were quickly shown to a suitable table.Something a bit more than âPub Grubâ but less than âFine Diningâ is on offer. There was a choice meals and courses available but I would not describe the menu as extensive. Nevertheless there was sufficient to choose from.I felt that the time from placing the order to the meal arriving could have been quicker.Our meal was attractively presented and tasted good. The size of the portions was good. I did not leaver feeling hungryAll of the staff were very efficient, friendly and attentive.The surroundings and furnishings were in good condition.I am happy to recommend the place and will go there again in the futureHi Jennifer,Thank you for your feedback and lovely words- it is really appreciated! My first visit ever and one ticked off bucket list!!Steak was AMAZING and cooked perfectly. The peas are to die for!!The only point that wasn't anywhere near the quality and taste of our main meals, was the starter. We ordered Nachos with home-made chilli carn carne and cheese, served with salsa, sour cream and jalapenos.The food was served quickly, but the Nachos were such a disappointment! Only served with salsa on the side and the chilli represented a poor Bolognese. The Nachos were a cheap brand. Not good at all!!However, we cannot fault our main meal and will return and definitely order a different starter!!

Early lunch with easy parking nearby. Good welcome and quick service. The lunch menu had varied choices with the full menu also available. All the dishes were well presented, looked good and tasted even better. Portion sizes were more than adequate, so no one should go home hungry! My only slight complaint was that the music was rather loud and possibly conversation stopping -- people on their phones didn't notice!! The total cost was a very acceptable £46 for two people including drinks and coffee. Two course lunch £12 per person - excellent value.

Regularly visit the steak house, my daughters call it the knife and fork because of the logo for Sunday lunch. Roast beef is actually medallions of fillet steak so you can have them cooked to your preference, separate vegetables so can serve yourself. My eldest daughter thinks the swede is to die for we always ask for seconds. Excellent value and friendly staff. If going late on Sunday phone to reserve you roast dinner as they run out.
