The same breeze that rustles orange and pomegranate trees will power your kitesurfing or windsurfing session. In the capital city of Parikia, make sure to pay your respects at the Byzantine "church of 100 doors" (Panagia Ekatontapillani) and visit the seaside ruins of a medieval castle built from the marble remains of an ancient temple.

We booked in feb 2021 having viewed the enticing pictures on Expedia. On arrival we found they were far removed from reality. On arrival we were sat down for 15 minutes whilst the manager explained the Covid rules. This included the fact that our breakfasts would be brought to our room because of Covid. We were then shown to our room. This was like going back 40 years to the 1st time we went to Greece. To say it was basic was an understatement. Curtains barely hanging on rails, broken wardrobe doors, a tiny bathroom with a huge hole in the ceiling revealing the sky outside. There was an overriding smell of damp, or dirty mop bucket water, it was that bad. We explained that this was not as it said on the website and the manager apologised and urged us to take the room anyway. We refused and asked for another only to be shown another room that had not been used for a week but also had not been cleaned in that time, with unmade beds from the previous occupants and a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, despite the fact that the windows were open wide , it was very off putting. We declined and asked for our money back. The manager then added that the cleaners had not been working and that most of the rooms are not ready, but if we waited for them to return at 10pm the room would be cleaned. We declined and we’re shown a 3rd room adjacent to the pool. Which is when we discovered that the sea ‘views’ pictures from the pool are obscured by 30ft buildings immediately adjacent to it. To get to the pool you have to walk out of the hotel and along the street. The sun beds are old and manky, and there was only 4 of them. The room we were then shown was equally as squalid and again we declined the offer and asked for a refund. The manager said he would ask his boss and rang him while we deliberated in what to do. On deciding to leave we where told we could not have a refund (£175) and we’re so disgusted with the whole experience that we decided to pick up our bags and leave. There was no offer of alternative accommodation so we used the hotel WiFi to book another hotel in nearby Naoussa, a much bigger, better resort. The next day the manager emailed us to say we could have had a stay at their sister hotel, Mr & Mrs White, near Naoussa, with the same deposit. But it was too late by then. All in all a sour experience and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel one bit, steer clear.

Lovely stay in a pitoresc hotel

The owner and the staff are so lovely people! They welcomed us with open arms and we felt immediately home. Also very helpful in recommending the good spots/ to do's on the Island. The rooms are spacious and very clean! The beds are also very comfortable. It is perfectly located near the beach, the restaurants and the port. Beautiful garden with a lovely smell of the flowers. If we visit Paros again, we would definitely stay with Spyros again! Thanks for the amazing stay, we didn't want to leave.

Great and convenient choice

Back to Paros after living abroad for many years, we booked Porto Naoussa for its location and decent price. We had a great time, very nice welcome by owner. The location is very convenient, very close to centre of Naousa and yet not busy or noisy surroundings. Easy to walk to some beaches too. We enjoyed a lot the private terrace our room had and the comfortable bed. Unfortunately they dont do breakfast. Would be nice to have it served in the terrace instead of having to go to the bakery or market and come back to enjoy it. Not a problem for us, it would just be a good addition.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time at Omilos Beach house; the rooms are newly renovated, cozy & with beautiful views to the sea. We didn't book breakfast at the room rate but with 10€ per person we could join the buffet at the close by affiliate hotel, Paros Agnanti, which was a great value for money! As guests of Omilos we could also make use of the pool & gym of that hotel, which was another plus added to our stay! The location is good, only 25-30min walking distance to Parikia and they do offer 3 times per day a free shuttle service. We did not make use of the shuttle bus, as we don't mind walking along that beautiful beach. It was a great stay overall, and we will definitely recommend it to others!
