Visited recently for breakfast while visiting my sister who lives locally and had recommended. Food was well presented and really tasty. Service was friendly and efficient too. We visited this cafe 3 times in 3 days. The coffee was nice and hot and the staff very friendly. Menu is limited but everything we ordered was tasty and well presented. Definately recommend.

This seems to have become our regular spot for breakfast on a Saturday.Food is excellent, fresh and full of flavour and cakes/coffee is amazing. My wife loves the turmeric tea latte.

We ate here with friends as part of a birthday celebration. The seafood and fish were great - good size portions and fresh local ingredients. Great range of wines too. Service was excellent too.

We enjoyed our third visit to the Lighthouse today and was delighted with the friendly welcome, wonderful food, fresh from the fisherman’s trawler and nice ambiance. This is a lovely little restaurant overlooking Newhaven Harbour which never disappoints. I’ve tried a few different fish dishes now, everyone fantastic but they also have a meat and a vegetarian option too which we’re all well received. Word of warning though, do book in advance to ensure a table. We’ve heard a few disappointed travellers be turned away

Warm welcome on a very cold day. Nice little cafe, very young family welcome. Although only in for soup and coffee which were very good, menu looked good. Very cold day but cafe cosy.Thank you Brian. Hopefully we'll see you again soon.
