I have visited hundreds of temples in Thailand and this has to be in the top 10 as far as magnificent beauty. The main temple, which has restricted hours, is very large with the walls, columns, chandeliers and everything covered with mirrored tiles that along with the lighting make for an extraordinary sight. It's certainly off the beaten path as it's about 2 1/2 hours from Bangkok but worth the time. The temple area has many other temples within and I had the good fortune to see some of them. this is absolutely an amazing complex!
