Rathfarnham Castle

Reviewed By Tandum14

This castle is now more like a grand stately home on the inside and it's been through so many changes over the years. Because I visited last week, in the off season, I had my own solo guided tour by a very knowledgeable guide called Nicole. I live quite locally so it was very interesting to hear all the history and to see a model of how Rathfarnham looked way back in the day, before all the housing estates. There's a lot to know and learn from this tour and I'd definitely recommend. There are lovely grounds attached and a very nice tea room also.
