Decided to try a pint (or two) of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord. While supping, the t’other 1/2 asked if they had and nuts, dry roasted or salted. Unfortunately the answer was no. Remember any they did have will have been past their best before due to lock down. However, undeterred the young lady promptly brought out a complimentary dish of nibbles that were well received, crunchy and most welcome. I would add that while restrictions mean no inside drinking, they have, along with others, negotiated the use of the market square to serve people. Brilliant idea brining the community together. Tables on the square being provided by the different drinking establishments. Service being provided by whichever pubs tables you sat at. As far as I can tell, all are contactless payment as well. Superb place to visit.
