Lisa’s Kangaroo Retreat

Lisa’s Kangaroo Retreat rescues, rehabilitates and releases wildlife, including injured and orphaned joeys, kangaroos, wallabies, possums and other animals. Field trips to the retreat are fun, educational and heart-warming. Interacting with and supporting animals in need is a great experience for all the family, and a great opportunity for kids of all ages.

We went here for a team-building day with my company and it was an experience I will never forget. We were able to hand-feed the joeys which was a highlight for me. It is a wildlife sanctuary located opposite the salt mines in Port Hedland (follow the road sign). I will go again with my family. Five Star experience!

The lovely hike to the handrail pool with beautiful reflections is worth to do it. The walk is moderate and we saw many impressive old rock formations. That's what Karijini NP makes special. The scenery is unique and amazing

Very pretty gorge, easy to get into, the kids went for a swim at the pool on the right as you enter the gorge. Not the nicest water to swim in of all the gorges but the kids enjoyed it.
