Canoeing and Kayaking Tuition, trips, tours and hires on the South Coast. Based in East Wittering, just south of Chichester. We use Chichester Harbour, River Arun, Hamble River, River Adur, and further afield.

We are a residential activity centre offering safe, challenging and professionally run outdoor activities (water and land) at our centre in Chidham, West Sussex, and off site too. Our accommodation vessel, T S Resolute, is permanently moored to the land and sleeps up to 50 people - perfect for a summer camp, residential, men's weekend, retreat or family weekend. We run camps, courses and one day activities for 8 - 18s as well as families weekends, powerboat courses and use of our facilities for team days, meetings and private bookings. Our activities include sailing, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, archery, assault course, climbing and tunneling. We're also based in a stunning location that is perfect for country walks and general enjoyment of Chichester Harbour - an area of outstanding natural beauty. All the staff and volunteers at CYE are Christians and we believe in living life to the full and we hope you experience that in your time with us.

Not all coaching is the same. With Brighton Kayak Experience I want to make sure that everyone has the chance to experience the fun of kayaking. We are all unique with different learning styles. Some like to explore, others like to be guided and some just want to be told how to get better. Whatever your abilities or preferred way of learning I am confident you will enjoy your kayaking experience

Water sports hire available from Shore Watersports in east Wittering. You can hire the latest stand up paddle board, surf and kayak equipment from us at our store that is just a stones throw from east Wittering beach. So you get out in the colder months when we have more consistent surf conditions winter wetsuits can also be rented, you can check with our shop in east Wittering to check the conditions.

Our freshwater lake measures around 40 acres and has become the main centre for water-based activities on the South Coast. All equipment including wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids etc available for hire. There are changing rooms and showers on site. We have a fully licensed Bar/ Cafe where guests can enjoy stunning views across the lake and spectate the activities.
