Liapades (Greek: Λιαπάδες) is a medium-sized village located on the northwest side of Corfu, 4 km (2 miles) away from Palaiokastritsa. It has a quiet, agriculture-based economy during the winter. In the summer, the local industry mostly relies on the tourist trade, although the place is by no means mainstream. Liapades is situated on the sides of Kourkouli mountain, and spread right up to the North Valley (Πάνω Λιβάδι in Greek).

Lovely restaurant right on the sea front. Portions are really generous. The grilled red peppers with feta starter is amazing. Simple food but fantastic freshness and flavours. The moussaka was not heavy, but subtle flavours and fresh, some moussaka's can be too filling, but this was just enough. Still a good slab on the plate though. My partner had the soffrito, it was amazing and again a overly generous portion. Tender beef in a garlic sauce, a Corfu tradition. Lots of local only dishes, a grilled cheese starter was good as well. If your in the area, worth a visit and wear an elasticated waistband!!

Unfortunately Dassia has become a town dominated by the monstrous Ikos complex, due to which, there are many closed down tavernas and shops in the town. So imagine how delighted we were to find that one of the remaining restaurants was outstanding. The decor is pretty standard, and Yannis and team offer the usual warm Greek hospitality, but where this place really scores is the food ! We did try the rest, but kept coming back because the chef here somehow packs FLAVOUR into her food where some of the others can be a little bland. We loved it, it became our go-to taverna for dinner.

Having breakfast by the water. A little breeze and the sound of the waves. I had the English breakfast with a fresh orange juice and my friend had the Greek sausage omelette. It was good and all fresh!

Beautiful place to have a drink and something to eat. You sit under trees and in the evening there are candles on the tables making it a lovely place to be. You can eat or just have a drink. The prices are reasonable as well. They also have sport on the TV but it doesn't spoil the ambience. The staff are great! We love this place and visited several times on our holiday.

We ate a very copious meal here and enjoyed both the busy and friendly atmosphere and the views over the beach and the bay area. We holiday in Paleo every year and visit here with Maria and her family at least twice, if not more. Excellent food, fantastic service, we are remembered each year e go and the service is second to none. There is a gluten free menu and vegetarians are accommodated. Not one to miss Thank you for your kind words and your excellent review .Your opinion is very precious and you definitely make the whole Gran AlADINO team very happy .Our main aim is cooking real food for real people ,including dishes for vegan ,celiac, kosha ,vegeterian guests ,too .The Greek hospitality and good service is a must for us but above all we really work as a family here and this is what we wish you to feel while eating with us ....having a Greek fresh homemade meal at Home .Thank you very much again and we look forward seeing you again soon .
