Reviewed By PortlandRoverI arrived in Sterzing late afternoon, hoping to book a room at a hotel I used to stay at 20+ years ago. Bad move, the town has become much more popular and I had to go a bit further and stay here. I'm glad I did. Peaceful, clean, well-furnished rooms, but most of all the staff — to a person — were exceptionally welcoming, polite and helpful. They all could start second careers as linguists, bouncing back and forth speaking Italian, German and English to the guests. After driving several hundred kilometers the day I arrived, I was ready for comfortable lodgings and a good meal. This place delivered on both!

Magnificent
Reviewed By alessandrafJ5758TSI spent two weeks with my partner and my dog in one of the apartment at the unterbergerhof. My parents rented a second one. We were together but separated a perfect combination for privacy. The little village of San Giacomo is superb with breath taken landscape. Unterbergerhof dominates the valley in a peaceful and beautiful location. Marika is a perfect owner, friendly and discrete. Her family always welcoming and smiling. I highly recommend this mask to people living the mountains away from the mess. A 20 minutes driving to be in Vipiteno for a nice night plenty of restaurants and bars to go. In a word Fantastic !

Reviewed By E5258BPalexandraaGreat hotel and great staff! They were very helpful and even sent me something I forgot there during my stay. The rooms are modern and very clean and the views amazing.There is also a pool and sauna and the breakfast is tasty! I would definetly come again.

Reviewed By Jhonny MThe zimmer was very dirty and the walls full of mold, room temperature was 9°C, we have pay 50 Euro p.p. With only breakfast.. In a “Hotel” with 3* this is unacceptable! The only food was good! 1*do not recommend it, be careful!!
