Ok Hotel in a terrible town
Reviewed By Magnus PThe building is new and well kept, unlike anything else in this town. Minatitlan is about the ugliest and less appealing town I have visited in Mexico. The staff is not particularly attentive, but nice when you talk to them. The rooms are clean and new. There is no hot water in the shower, which is Ok when the temperature outside is 35, but when it rains and it gets cold, it would be nice with a warm shower. The bed is fine, but the 4 pillows are all very large and hard and even though I asked for a softer one that was apparently not possible. So now my neck hurts. The restaurant serves a nice Sopa Azteca (with lots of cheese and not much tortilla), but while they have a alot of seafood and shrimp dishes that look tasty on the card they don't actually make those - the water says that shrimp spoils too easily and thats why they don't cook those, which made me a little uneasy about how they handle food - in a fridge it should be possible to store shrimp a day or two. Overall the hotel is ok for the price (although note I paid half the advertised price because I booked over the internet), but I would reccomend staying in one of the surrounding towns.

Very clean and convenient
Reviewed By BadiaWWe stopped in Minatitlán on our way to Chiapas. It is a very clean hotel and modern. The rooms have a kitchenette and specious. The price is reasonable but no breakfast is included. Also the menu they have in the room is useless as the restaurant that serves it is closed. The swimming pool is tiny.

Exceeded my expectations
Reviewed By Epadilla1I was staying in this hotel as part of a business trip, and at first, I was a little thoughtful about my stay here. As soon as I arrived, I was surprised. Not only is the food in the restaurant good, but everything is much better than your average hotel in the area. Our room as fitted with a flat screen TV featuring many channels. The room we had (409) was just the right size. The beds looked semi old, but smelled new. They even had complimentary water in our room. All the staff is friendly, defiantly something not found in nearby hotels. This hotel overachieved my expectations. Would stay here again. Now, the only reason I didn't give this hotel a 5 stars was because the AC could get somewhat noisy at night, and the bathroom could only be used one at the time. Otherwise, I will stay here again without even thinking it twice.
