It's not the same as in the states. Kinda of expensive for what they offer. Nice environment and very polite staff.If you expect the same as in the states go to a regular Brazilian restaurant.

This was the closest option for us at work and I'm glad they had a good selection of food including seafood. The staff was nice and the food was good. Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible.

Recommended this place by a local guide and it lived up to expectations. Unfortunately was closed on weekend, but third time lucky we went back during the week and glad we did! Food was amazing, best buffet I've ever eaten from. Separate grill for all the meat and it kept on coming, delivered right to table! Highly recommend to all!

The Coco Bambu is one of the best addresses in Porto Alegre to enjoy a very good fish or seafood dinner. The service staff is friendly and very diligent.After the obligatory Caipirinha cocktail made with Cachaca Coco Bambu, I had as first starter the Couvert Especial (marinated shrimps, sun-dried tomatoes with freshly seasoned minas cheese, grilled tomatoes with fried garlic, and eggplant, salmon ceviche and cheese breads). It comes with seasoned garlic toast. The second appetizer was a very delicious Costelinha de Tambaqui (crispy tambaqui ribs).The main dish was an excellent prepared Sirigado ao Forno (Roasted Sirigado fillet with bell peppers, tomato, onion, carrot, potato, baked garlic and parsley). Side dish was rice, farofa and banana.The Patagonia Amber Lager craft beer and also the 2017 DâAlamel by Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc white wine from Chile were very quaffable and good companions to the dishes.An Espresso combined with a Grappa was a good completion of the nice dinner.To have fish and seafood specialties at the Coco Bambu is a good choice and worth to come again.Ficamos felizes com sua satisfação com nossas entradas, bebidas, pratos e nosso atendimento. I am celiac so I cannot eat gluten, their special for Tuesdays was a breaded fish (breaded in corn and rice flour) with rice and veggies (I asked them for fries instead or rice and they were happy to change it for me) the whole dish was great and not expensive at all! My husband got the soups buffet and all the 3 soups were very good. They have a big selections of a sweet buffet but we did not eat from there.Thank you for your rating. Come and visit us more often!
