The Pollock Holes

The pollock holes is a fantastic place to visit if in Co Clare. It is so beautiful to to walk around the holes and have a swim in all three. The water is cold but so refreshing. There is something so calming about these holes. Lovely to see the locals coming down in their dressing gowns for a daily dip.

As the best guide books say 'worth a detour'! A highlight of the beautiful area of Loop Head, the Bridges of Ross has a lovely cliff walk, wonderful sea views and a coast battered and shaped by the sea. One of the wildest parts of the wild atlantic way.

When the weather is amazing, it's a great time to head to the beach and walk, watch the scuba divers, the fishermen, the kids playing in the water, etc, etc. This is a beach lover's paradise and I can't wait to go back!
