Were guests at the hotel and had already planned to eat here so that we could relax and have a drink. The bar area is a nice relaxed place. The restaurant is quite small but tables are arranged well, not too cramped on space. The menu is limited on options, but we prefer a smaller menu as it usually means that items are cooked well as they have to stand up to many orders. We consider the prices to be at the highest of acceptable for this type of establishment. Everything was cooked and presented very well, meal for two with two starters, two mains, one desert and a bottle of wine was around £70.Wonderful! We were staying in a local hotel which advertised this place to visit for breakfast etc.The tables outside and inside front were full but there were empty table in the rear of the cafe which may of been a leanto at some time.The breakfasts were much to large as we had only eaten the night before and I ordered a Tuna mix in a bap with a large cup of coffee.All the staff were very friendly and we got the impression that most of the customers were local having their breakfasts.We were made very welcome and we shall certainly return again when we are next in the area.

Me and my husband went in for dinner and were surprised to find an area of Stalham we'd never been before, an enchanting river side location. The Slipper is situated in a flint and brick barn and done up beautifully.An exciting menu with classics and a twist, generous portion sizes and totally flavoursome. We liked all the extras and additional touches - like the dish of dauphinoise on the side of the venison steak. Great service, relaxed atmosphere and comfortable restaurant. It has the feel of a real treat but without the inflated prices - a restaurant with ethics, using local produce, donating to charity and a place you can become a regular.Parking outside - Easy to find - We've already brooked in for Sunday lunch. We ate there last night and the food, cocktails and service were all outstanding. Pamela's provides more than a meal, the whole evening was an occasion and felt very special, a real treat. Lovely to be able to get this quality of food and service in Gt Yarmouth.

My husband booked this restaurant as a surprise for our 1st wedding anniversary. We both decided to go for the 6 course taster menu together with the wine flight. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted great. I tried things that I had not eaten before, which was quite adventurous for me! All the wines selected to go with each course were perfectly chosen. The ambience and service was first class. Thank you for making our anniversary evening so perfect. We would definitely go back if we return to Norfolk. Thank you for your recent review. We are delighted to hear that you both enjoyed the tasting menu for your anniversary. Visited here for an Light lunch. Two sandwiches, two scones with cream and jam and one cake all with drinks. Waitress took the order and shortly after the drinks arrived followed by the food.
