By Chinese standards, let alone by Shangri-La standards this apparently 'signature' restaurant is just not up to scratch. Many menu items are missing which is totally bizarre in China. Descriptions are not accurate. The service is very casual and they speak no English. The atmosphere is neither smart hotel nor real Chinese. While they are selling packages of expensive moon cakes with OK wine outside the restaurant the wines listed in the restaurant are almost all out of stock.

A nice restaurant and a nice view.we generally had breakfast here. It also offers veg dishes so we had soups here which were delicious.staff is very polite and helpful.Breakfast spread is great with continental, cereals, salads, egg station, porridge, cognee, dumplings and other steamed varieties. Bakery products including breads, buns, croissants and pastries.fruit and yogurts. pasta station and other Chinese vegetable wok fried dishes.plus nice bottles jams and honey.tea / coffee etc.a usual grand spread you would expect from a five star hotel.they even have a sand bunker outside and kids can play in the sand - sand toys are available from the Cafe. Not sure about charges though.
