We keep our boat at Derby Motor Boat Club on the opposite side of Sawley Locks and this is our regular haunt for a drink and snack. Dave and Kathryn are great hosts and the ability to try out three third-of-a-pint local beers is an unusual way to drink a pint! Well worth a visit!

This is a great place but so tiny that if you go at busy times there is standing room only, although it is a micro pub, but if at these times you want to enjoy a quiet drink, forget it.Beers are excellent so is wine, AND they serve tea and coffee and filled rolls.
